Health and Wellbeing Day

“Overcoming Adversity”

MILITARY MINDSET, alongside Enactus social enterprise sports clothing company, JCADE, is working hard to present their first Health and Wellbeing Day on Friday 8th February at Loughborough University Student Union from 10:00am till 6:30pm (FREE ENTRY).

 
The theme of the event is the “Overcoming of Adversity” – helping people to overcome and have foresight over possible future events in the aid to develop improved personal resilience. The day is set to include an array of inspirational speakers, including former Welsh Netball International Becky Oatley, CEO of Gymbeing Gavin Townsend and 7/7 survivor Dan Biddle. There will be a host of special guests, amongst them Irish boxing legend and Hollywood actor Joe Egan, star of HauntedLIVE, Lee Roberts along with Hollywood actor (Darth Vader) Spencer Wilding.  There’ll also be lots of stalls to tempt you with many friendly faces to come and speak with. Any money raised on the day will be shared between two charities - MIND and Combat Stress.
